Baby Update

It's a girl!!!  We have known since the end of July; I just haven't had time to post.  She is a little wiggle worm.  Kicking and squirming all over the place.  I just love feeling her move!  I feel amazed by her already.  We are still playing around with the name combinations - naming her is a ton of pressure.    I am 26 weeks - almost 7 months, which will start the third trimester.  Two-thirds of the way, and I cannot believe it!  I am getting more and more excited to see her.  We have a busy few months planned, so I hope the time flies by!  Lauren's shower is tomorrow, and I absolutely cannot wait to see her cute belly!

 Have a great weekend!

It's Baby Time!

We found out April 17th that we are expecting a little Tyndall!  Although surprised, we were really excited!  Our first appointment at Greenville OB was May 10th.  Our first ultrasound predicted that baby Tyndall will arrive on December 24, 2011 . . . Christmas Eve!?!?!  Having a baby on Christmas Eve is a little crazy to me, but who better to share a birthday with than Jesus, huh?  I have felt pretty good.  I have been a little nauseated at night, but fortunately I haven't been terribly sick.  Today I am ten weeks and four days!  We went for our second appointment today expected to only hear baby Tyndall, but we got to see the little one today!  He/she was bouncing all around and gave us a fist pump.  Thinking we got a manly man or a feisty little girl in there!  :)

The Butler Way: One Day Better

Perry and I have really enjoyed watching Butler make it to the Final Four. Read this article about their faith!

Where you at?!?!

So . . . even though I've been updating the classroom blog and stalking everyone else's blog, I have fallen short on keeping up the Tyndall blog!  I haven't posted since December!  I'm sure you all are going through withdraws, the shakes, and the whole bit (obviously joking), so I'm back with a few random pictures.

My boys greet our neighbor, AJ, like this every afternoon.
She caught them on camera a few weeks ago.  How sweet is this?!?!

Preface

I have been known to literally put my car in reverse to pick up what I think is a treasure on the side of the road . . . one woman's trash is another woman's treasure right?!?!  Well this is especially true about old windows.  Do I need 10,000,000 old windows in my storage shed/laundry room?  No!  Do I have that many?  Not really, but I do have more than I am actually going to use.  I finally made a treasure out of one, and I feel proud.  Take a look.  What do you think?

I FINALLY made the curtains I have wanted for my dining room a few weeks ago.

And I found this fabric for my living room, but I have not really decided how to "style" them?  I'm thinking long like the dining room but a little more "flowy".

AND . . . that's all folks!

Check out the Pi Day pictures on the classroom blog!

Christmas Pictures

Thursday night we celebrated Christmas with Perry's family at his Aunt Valerie and Uncle Cleve's house.  This is one of our favorite times during the holidays.   Cleve cooks oysters and steak, and we do a Chinese Gift Exchange which is always a lot of fun!

"What the heck is this?!?!?!"
Last year Mike went home with a Snuggie...

Perry and I have always exchanged gifts sometime on Christmas Eve.  Partly because I can't wait any longer to give him his gifts, but also because Christmas Day can get sort of busy.

Rufus got a little tissue paper stuck to his lips!

My beautiful new ring!

Christmas morning we head over to the Tyndall's to open gifts and have breakfast.

Perry's new boots and cooker!

Santa brought Vickie and Dorsey a gas grill.  They were really suprised!

And I got to put it together!  :)

We hope you all had a great time with family and friends during the holidays!

Merry Christmas and Happy 2011!
